A native Mac assistant that brings screenshot vision, persistent AI chat, media controls, and system actions into one always-available interface.
The problem
Useful AI should be available at the moment a person needs it. IslandIQ explores how an assistant can live inside the Mac notch instead of forcing people to leave their current workflow.
What we built
Built a native SwiftUI macOS product around the notch interaction model.
Added cloud vision providers including Groq, Gemini, and Pollinations with user-selectable configuration.
Connected global screenshot shortcuts, image analysis, persistent conversations, and system controls in one interface.
Extended the product with music, calendar, reminders, battery, shelf, webcam, and system HUD experiences.
